In a study using the historical geo-referencing of hundreds of thousands of dengue cases, PENSA also collaborated, together with the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation - FioCruz, the FGV, and the Municipal Health, Education and Conservation Secretariats , for the reduction of 94% of the cases of dengue in the city, from the analysis of maps of occurrence of patients, guiding health teams, cleaning and agents to combat the mosquito Aedes aegypti to the most affected areas.
